Cutter settings in Layout

When using Flex Cut, Cutting in Panels or OPOS panelling -> the Feed setting in the cutter tab in Layout needs to be set to Transport to ensure its correct functioning.

Flex Cut: if only half of the image is cut:

The Summa cutter performs an automatic cut file optimisation when it is set to FlexCut to avoid material crashes.  In practice this means that the cut file is split in parts – each part defined by the registration marks.

e.g. If your file contains a registration mark in the middle – then the file is split in 2 halves – see image below.

To ensure both parts of the file are cut, OPOS panelling must be OFF otherwise the cutter will only cut what is between the first 2 registration marks: i.a. half of the circle as per example below.
