In the event that files need to be re printed at a later stage, a .aur file can be saved out holding the printer profile and cutter settings used when printed initially.
- Open the file in Editor
- Select the printer profile, reference profile and e.g. cutter driver
- Submit the file to Layout
- Submit to RIP
At the moment the file is submitted to the RIP, the data is fed back from Layout to the file in Editor and only when you save the file after it is sent to the RIP, the printer profile and cutter info is saved into to .aur. Upon re-opening the .aur file in Editor, the settings of how it was last printed are restored.
