General Preferences

This functionality allows the user to choose what RIPs he can send jobs to. This option prevents the user to accidentally send jobs to the wrong RIP or

to access RIPs outside of the local network like for example in another location and/or accessible via a VPN.

This option is accessible via the Editor application as follows: Open PrintFactory Editor and go to the menu item Edit > Preferences > General on Windows

and PrintFactory Editor > Preferences > General on MacOS X.

Fixed RIP Servers

Here the IP(s) of the RIP computer(s) that need to be available in the Quick Production dialog can be entered. The IPs are separated by “;” character.

Please notat the the Editor must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
